In our programme for Biodiesel in India we are embarking to set up a research facility that will undertake design, innovate and develope bio diesel facilities, planting, extraction of fuels and down stream technologies with a thrust to maximize returns to the growers and processors. As a precursor to this we are allowing corporate growers, small and marginal farmers and cultivators to explore with us the technology alternatives that can propel our energy needs and fulfill our ambition to be a premium energy producer of the world. We will install pilot scale and prototype modular production technologies for extraction of Bio diesel and also demonstrate our state of art processing technologies. In the process we will also offer several value added product chains that will propel the growers to maximize their profit potential of their land and cultivation assets and reap the reward of the pro successful enterprise abilities. Area of cultivation: In India we have earmarked TamilNadu, Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Kerala, Maharashtra ,Gujarat and Orissa. The Jatropha plantation primarily focuses cultivated green bio-diesel as an alternate source of fuels that can propel engines, generators and transportation as well as power generation in the future and replace existing sources. Is it be possible to establish the right cultivation and processing methods so that the jatropha plant can produce a high-quality bio- fuel which can compete with existing fuels in terms of cost of production? The main factor that makes the major difference is the cost of the Biofuel that it can be made cheaper than the petro diesel and on a long-term basis without affecting the operational economics.
